Bhopal, June 5–6, 2025 – Millennium College of Pharmacy & Science, a premier institution under the Millennium Group of Institutions, proudly celebrated World Environment Day 2025 with a powerful two-day program dedicated to the global theme “Beat Plastic Pollution.”
This eco-conscious initiative was organized in association with the Madhya Pradesh Council of Science and Technology (MPCST) and featured a host of interactive, impactful, and awareness-driven events aimed at encouraging environmental responsibility among youth.
The celebrations commenced with a heartfelt plantation drive on the college campus. Students and faculty enthusiastically participated by planting a variety of saplings, symbolizing their commitment to building a sustainable and pollution-free future. The green initiative not only enhanced the biodiversity of the college campus but also reinforced the institution's reputation as a green pharmacy campus in Bhopal.

The event featured renowned environmental experts and thought leaders who enlightened students on the pressing issues caused by plastic consumption. The chief guest for the program was Dr. Swagat Mehta, a respected environmentalist and science communicator. His powerful address on plastic alternatives, waste management, and community participation received overwhelming appreciation.

These events received enthusiastic participation from students across all years of the B.Pharm and D.Pharm programs. Their creativity and awareness messages impressed the judges and helped reinforce the event’s core theme.
